Do I still need a resume?

Vetano is video-first, so a resume isn't required to apply. If you want to share one, the app has an Attachments section where you can upload your resume, certificates, and any other credentials (licenses, training records, etc.) right on your profile.

How long should skill videos be?

Keep it short and specific, usually 10–45 seconds per skill is enough. The goal is to show real ability fast, not create a full demo reel.

Is Vetano free for talent?

Yes. Creating a profile, applying to jobs, and being contacted by employers is completely free for talent. You only pay if you want Talent Pro for gig work.

What kinds of jobs work on Vetano?

Almost any job. Vetano works for anything you'd find on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or Craigslist, babysitting, caregiving, tutoring, pet care, cleaning, rideshare, admin, freelance, and creative work, plus the frontline roles we're known for (restaurants, salons & barbershops, skilled trades, automotive, construction, healthcare, hospitality, retail). The intro video + short skill or ancillary clips help any candidate prove who they are before the first message.

How do connections work?

Messaging on Vetano opens only after both sides accept a connection request, not the moment you apply. Open DMs invite spam and unwanted contact; permission-based messaging keeps conversations between ID-verified people. The other person has 24 hours to accept the request, after that it expires and you're free to reach out to someone else. Applying to jobs is always free and does not require a connection.

How does ID verification work?

Vetano uses government ID verification to reduce fake profiles and build trust. Verification helps employers engage with real people, and helps serious talent stand out.

Can employers post a job and link it anywhere?

Yes. Post your role wherever you already post (Indeed, Craigslist, Facebook, your own site) and include your Vetano job link to funnel applicants into one place with verified skill videos.

What are gigs, and can talent earn money with them?

Gigs are flexible, short-term work, event shifts, seasonal help, side projects, and more. Businesses post gigs and talent picks them up on their own schedule. Every employer plan includes gig posts at no extra cost.

How do team members work for businesses?

Each paid employer plan includes seats for additional team members so multiple people from the same company can manage hiring together. The number of seats included scales with the plan tier.

Is Vetano only for hands-on or trade roles?

No. Vetano is built for any role where proof helps you stand out. Hands-on candidates show skill clips and certifications; desk, sales, customer service, admin, marketing, operations, and entry-level candidates can use intro videos, presentations, writing samples, project walkthroughs, portfolios, certificates, and volunteer work.

Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?

Yes. You can change or cancel your plan anytime from the app. Upgrades are prorated for the rest of the billing cycle; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current period, you keep access until then.

Is there a refund policy?
