1. Our policy
Vetano respects intellectual property rights and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA, and we terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
2. Submitting a takedown notice
To submit a takedown notice, send a written communication to our designated agent that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., the full URL or username and a description).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may not receive a response. Knowingly making material misrepresentations may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you live (or, if outside the U.S., the federal court in any judicial district where we may be found).
