Q: Why do I need to verify my identity?

A: Verification ensures trust and safety within the Vetano community. All users (Employers and Candidates) verify their identity using a Driver’s License or Passport before fully accessing Vetano.


Q: Is my phone number shared with others?

A: No. Your phone number is used exclusively for secure login verification. Employers will only see candidate contact information after the candidate accepts a connection request.



Logging In & Setting Up


Q: How do I log in for the first time?

A: Simply enter your phone number, receive a verification code via text, and select your role (Candidate or Employer) to start using Vetano.


Q: Can I switch between Employer and Candidate roles after signing up?

A: Currently, you must choose one role per account. If you need both roles, consider creating two separate profiles with different phone numbers.



Candidate Questions


Q: What should I include in my Vetano profile?

A: Highlight your name, tagline, a brief biography, career timeline, relevant attachments (resumes, licenses), and showcase your skills through video and other media.


Q: What type of videos should I upload for my Skills Showcase?

A: Short videos that clearly demonstrate your abilities or accomplishments relevant to your profession. Your primary video should quickly communicate your key skills and professional strengths.


Q: How do I apply for jobs?

A: Go to the "Explore" page, view available job listings, and tap "Apply Now" on jobs you're interested in.


Q: How will I know if an employer is interested in my application?

A: You’ll receive a connection request notification. Accepting it opens a direct messaging channel with the employer.



Employer Questions


Q: What information should I include on my company page?

A: Your company’s name, tagline, a concise overview, your primary company video, additional media highlighting your company culture or workplace, your address, and current job postings.


Q: How do I connect with candidates?

A: Purchase connection packages in the app. Use one connection each time a candidate accepts your invitation to chat.


Q: What happens if a candidate doesn't respond to my connection request?

A: If a candidate doesn't accept within 24 hours, your connection credit will not be deducted.


Q: Do connection credits expire?

A: No, your purchased connections never expire.


Q: Can multiple team members manage one Employer profile?

A: Currently, profiles are managed individually. Future updates will support multi-user and organizational management options.

Q: Can I delete my Vetano account?

A: Yes. You can delete your account anytime under the Settings page.


Q: How can I control notifications?

A: Toggle notifications on or off from your Settings page.

A: Go to your Settings page, select "Buy More Connections," and choose your package directly within the app.
