Vetano Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Vetano! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vetano mobile application, website (including vetano.com), and all related services (collectively, the "App," "Platform," or "Service"), operated by Vetano, Inc. (“Vetano,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Vetano

Vetano is a global hiring platform where job seekers showcase their skills through video-based profiles and connect with employers for full-time or gig-based opportunities. Employers use Vetano to discover, evaluate, and contact vetted talent.

2. Eligibility

To use Vetano, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.

• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and maintain your account accordingly.

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

a. Job Seekers ("Candidates")

• May create a profile, upload skill videos, list qualifications, and apply for roles.

• Are responsible for ensuring all uploaded content is accurate and does not mislead.

b. Employers

• May create an account to search for and contact candidates.

• Are responsible for complying with applicable employment laws in their region.

4. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for:

• Safeguarding your account credentials.

• All activity conducted under your account.

• Reporting any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Vetano reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use and Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or offensive content.

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.

• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity.

• Use the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

• Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the functionality of the Platform.

Vetano reserves the right to remove content or users that violate these rules.

6. Verification

We may require identity verification (e.g., government-issued ID) to improve platform integrity. While we take steps to verify identities and skills, Vetano does not guarantee the accuracy of any user-generated content.

7. Fees and Payments

a. For Employers

• Vetano may charge fees for contacting or hiring candidates, as disclosed during purchase.

• All payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

b. For Candidates

• A small annual fee may be charged to activate or maintain a profile.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on Vetano (except user-generated content) are the intellectual property of Vetano, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without our permission.

Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant Vetano a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and use such content within the App.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Vetano may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, or for any reason that compromises platform safety.

10. Disclaimers

• Vetano is a platform, not an employer or recruiter.

• We do not guarantee job placement or hiring results.

• All user interactions are at your own risk. Use caution and judgment.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetano is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Loss of income, data, or reputation.

• Any disputes or agreements made between users.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 12 months, if any.

12. Privacy

Use of Vetano is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and use your data in accordance with global privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA).

13. International Use and Compliance

As a global platform, you are responsible for complying with your local laws, including employment, data protection, and labor regulations. By using Vetano, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States and other countries for processing.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App, website, or email. Continued use after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, unless otherwise required by the laws of your jurisdiction. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable laws in your country of residence.
